Oh to remember what it was like to sit around all day when the only thing to worry about was if your chalk lines were straight and the sun was still shining. Dirtying your hand and clothes to saturations with the faded hues of sidewalk chalk. Trying to get all your ideas down on pavement before the lamplights came on and it was time to go inside have a bath and go to bed to awake again the next morning find your creations gone washed away by a late night summer shower and instead of viewing the loss as wasted effort lost forever you see a clean slate to to happily scratch color onto once again.
Traditional medium through and through no handy "colorfill" option here. Markers pencil and micron. (sorry if it seems a bit chopped near the top, my scanner hates my square sketchy but I love it!
Wow, it's very colourful and busy, and not to "shaky" i can tell whats going on.
I'd love to see this if it had been digitally coloured, then it would have been allot cleaner, but i still like it

Thanks glad you like it Tried my hardest to make sure it wasn't too cluttered but still had the scattered effect hehe
Somethings are better with a little bit of grain and imperfections Traditional medium is too often set aside for cleaner lines and effects.. I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
